Legal
Terms of Service
The conditions for downloading and using Raudo on Windows, iPhone and Android. In short: Raudo is the app; you bring and manage your own playlist.
Last updated: September 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Raudo ("Raudo", "the app" or "the software"), an IPTV player available as a desktop application for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) and as a mobile application for iPhone (iOS and iPadOS) and Android, developed and offered by the Raudo team ("we", "us").
By downloading, installing or using any of those versions you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not download or use the app.
You must be of the legal age required to enter into a contract in your country of residence.
2. Licence of use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Raudo on devices you control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Where you obtain the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the licence is further limited to devices that you own or control and to what those stores' usage rules permit.
This licence does not transfer ownership of the software to you. In particular, you may not:
- Resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute Raudo as if it were your own.
- Decompile, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
- Remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks or attributions in the software.
- Use Raudo to build a competing product or service from its code.
3. Acceptable use
Raudo is only a player, in all of its versions. You provide and manage your own playlist: an M3U or M3U8 link or file, or Xtream Codes login details (host, username and password). Raudo does not include, offer or distribute any channels, playlists or content of any kind.
You are solely responsible for your playlist and for the content you play, as well as for holding the rights, licences or permissions needed to access it. You may not use Raudo to:
- Access, download, record or redistribute content for which you do not hold the corresponding rights or authorisation.
- Carry out any unlawful activity or infringe the intellectual property, industrial or other rights of third parties.
- Breach the terms of your playlist provider, network or any third-party service.
- Distribute malware or interfere with the normal operation of the app or of third-party services.
We do not monitor and have no control over the playlists or servers you configure. If you use Raudo for unauthorised purposes, you do so at your sole responsibility.
4. No warranty and limitation of liability
Raudo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will run without interruption or error, or that it will be compatible with any particular playlist, server, codec, device or configuration.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from the use of or inability to use Raudo. Nor are we responsible for the content you play or for your playlist provider, with whom we have no relationship whatsoever.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, nor the non-waivable rights you hold as a consumer in the European Union.
5. Intellectual property
The "Raudo" name, the logo, the software, its interface and its design belong to Raudo or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you no rights over them beyond the licence of use described above.
The content you play through Raudo (channels, VOD, series, EPG guide and the like) belongs to its respective owners. It is not ours, we do not host it, and we have no connection with those providers.
Raudo builds on open-source components (for example, the libmpv engine on Windows and VLCKit on iPhone), used under their respective licences.
6. Changes and availability
We may update, improve, change or discontinue Raudo or any of its features at any time. On Windows the app updates automatically; on iPhone and Android updates arrive through the App Store and Google Play.
We may also amend these Terms. We will publish the current version on this page along with its update date; continued use of Raudo after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
7. Future paid plan (optional)
Raudo is free. An optional premium plan (around 5 euros per year) with a 7-day trial is planned for the future. It is an optional plan: the core of the app will remain usable.
When it exists, pricing, billing, renewal and refunds will be handled through the relevant external payment provider or the app store itself, and will be subject to their terms in addition to applicable consumer law. For purchases made inside the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by the store under its own policies.
The specific conditions of the paid plan will be detailed and published at launch; until then, this section is purely informational.
8. App store specific terms
If you obtain Raudo from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms, required by Apple, apply:
- These Terms are an agreement between you and Raudo, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the application or its content.
- Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the application.
- If the application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the application, including product liability, regulatory compliance or data protection claims.
- If a third party claims that the application infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation and resolution of that claim.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of service when using the application.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
If you obtain Raudo from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service additionally apply. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded the application from, the store's rules will prevail to the extent strictly necessary.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish and European Union law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Spain, without prejudice to the protection you retain as a consumer under the mandatory rules of your country of residence in the EU.
If any clause of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder will continue to apply in full.
