Which apps this covers

This policy covers every version of Raudo: the desktop app for Windows and the mobile apps for iPhone (iOS and iPadOS) and Android, whether you get them from the App Store, from Google Play, or by downloading them from raudoiptv.com.

All three behave the same way where privacy is concerned: they run entirely on your device, require no account, and send none of your data to any server of ours. Where something works differently on one platform (for example, how the operating system protects stored data), it is stated explicitly below.

In short

Raudo is an IPTV player. You bring your own playlist (an M3U or M3U8 link or file, or your Xtream Codes login); Raudo does not include any channels or content.

• You never need to create an account or sign in to use Raudo, on any platform.
• We collect no telemetry and no analytics, and we show no ads.
• There are no third-party trackers or ad networks in the app.
• We run no user servers: no profile of you exists on our side.
• Your playlist, your credentials and your preferences are stored only on your device.

That is why, on the App Store privacy label and in the Google Play Data safety form, Raudo is declared as an app that collects no data.

What data we process

None that reaches us. Raudo does not collect personal data or send it to servers of ours, because we have no account servers: there is no profile, no email address, and no identifier tying you to us.

The only data that exists inside the app is what you enter to play your playlist, plus the preferences you build up as you use it:

• Your playlist details: your M3U address, or the host, username and password of your Xtream Codes login.
• Your preferences: favourites, folders, recent channels, continue-watching history, language, player settings, and the parental control PIN if you enable it.

All of it stays on your device and is used only to make the app work.

Who you connect to when you play

When you play a channel, your device connects directly to your IPTV provider's server, without passing through us. That connection is between you and your provider: we do not see it, log it, or take part in it.

As with any internet connection, your IPTV provider can see the usual technical details, such as your IP address and what content you request. That processing is governed by your provider's terms and privacy policy, not by Raudo's.

The mobile apps do not communicate with raudoiptv.com or with any other service of ours while you use them.

Where your data is stored

Always on your device, inside the app's private data area. Never in the cloud, and never on machines of ours. The protection it gets depends on the operating system:

• On Windows, sensitive credentials (your Xtream Codes username and password) are encrypted at rest with the Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI), tied to your Windows user account.
• On iPhone and Android, data is kept in the app's private storage, which the operating system isolates from other installed apps and protects with the device's own encryption when you have it enabled.

If you uninstall Raudo, or clear the app's data from your system settings, that information is gone from your device. Since no copy exists on any server, nothing remains anywhere else.

One honest note about parental control: the PIN is stored alongside the app's other preferences. It is there to stop casual access by other people using the device, and should not be treated as a security measure against someone with technical knowledge and physical access to it.

Permissions and features on mobile

The iPhone and Android apps ask for the bare minimum:

• Local network: only if you use Chromecast. It is used to discover compatible devices on your network and send them the video. Playback travels from your provider to the receiving device; we are not involved.
• Device language: read on the device itself so the interface appears in your language. That information never leaves it.

Raudo does not request or use access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, photos or notifications. It uses no advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking: you will not see the iOS tracking permission prompt, because we do not track.

Updates

On iPhone and Android, updates are handled by the App Store and Google Play under your usual settings. The app does not download code on its own and does not contact servers of ours to check for new versions.

On Windows, Raudo is downloaded from raudoiptv.com and automatically checks whether a new version is available. As with any download, the provider serving the file (Cloudflare and GitHub) may log basic technical connection data, such as your IP address, the app version or your operating system. That processing is governed by those providers' privacy policies.

Equivalently, Apple and Google handle the data associated with downloading and updating from their stores under their own policies.

Telemetry and crash reports

Raudo sends no telemetry, usage statistics or crash reports automatically, on any platform. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking component built into the app.

If we ever add anonymous analytics or crash reporting, it will always be optional and off by default: you would decide whether to turn it on, and could turn it off whenever you wanted. This document would be updated before that happened.

Children

Raudo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. Since the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either.

The content played comes from each user's own playlist. The app includes a PIN-based parental control to block channels or categories on the device.

Payments

Raudo is free today. An optional premium plan with a trial period is planned for the future, and payment would be handled by an external payment provider or by the app store itself.

In that case, you would deal with your payment details directly with that provider or with Apple or Google, under their privacy policies. Raudo would never see or store your card details; at most we would receive confirmation that your licence is active.

Your rights

Because Raudo collects no personal data, in practice we hold no information about you to access, correct or delete. The data the app generates lives on your device and is entirely under your control: you can view it, change it or erase it from within the app or by uninstalling it.

If you live in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your personal data. If we ever did process data about you (for example, when you write to us or subscribe to the premium plan), you could exercise those rights by contacting us.

If you live in California or another territory with equivalent legislation, note that Raudo does not collect, sell or share personal information, so there are no data categories to disclose and no sales to opt out of.

In any case, you may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
