Xtream Codes questions

Where do I get the host, username and password?

Your playlist provider gives them to you when you sign up for their service. Raudo doesn't provide them and includes no content: it only plays what you load.

What's the difference between Xtream Codes and M3U?

Xtream Codes is a login (host + username + password) that organizes Live, Movies and Series with EPG automatically. An M3U is a link or file with the channel list. Raudo supports both; with Xtream the catalog and guide usually come better organized.

Is it safe? Does my data stay on my PC?

Yes. Raudo is local-first: no account, no ads and no telemetry. Your credentials and your playlist stay on your computer.

Does Raudo include channels or content?

No. Raudo is only the player; you bring your own playlist (Xtream Codes or M3U). It does not offer or include channels.

Will I always have catch-up and the guide?

They depend on your provider offering them. If your service includes them, Raudo shows them; if not, you still get live, VOD and every other feature.

Can I switch from Xtream to M3U later?

Yes. You can save multiple playlists and switch whenever you want, without losing your favorites or your settings.
